Efren M.Gamboa was born in San Vicente, Coahila, Mexico. Struck with polio when he was 2, he was later completely healed at the age of 13. As ordained minister, he has been a missionary and involved in radio broadcasting. His hometown is Midland, Texas, but because of his employment he travels extensively throughout the United States.
